Eizabeth was born in 1743.  Eizabeth's father was Isaac Sampson and her mother was Elizabeth Hodges (Sampson).  Her paternal grandparents were Isaac Sampson and Lydia Standish (Sampson).  She had two brothers and three sisters, named Isaac, Jacob, Anna, Hannah and Phebe.  She was the fifth oldest of the six children.  She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Uriah, John, Hannah, Sarah, Margaret and Lydia.
