Alexander was born on November 1st, 1912.  Alexander's father was Vincenzo Iacovone and his mother was Philomina Panuzio (Iacovone).  His paternal grandparents were Benedetto Iacovone and Filomena Longhi (Iacovone).  He had a brother and two sisters, named Joseph, Minnie and Maria.  He was the youngest of the four children.  He died at the age of 76 on October 17th, 1989 in Springfield, MA.1
