Catherine was born in 1823 in Donegal,Ireland.  Catherine's father was Charles Haggerty and her mother was Roseann McGuire or Macquire (Haggerty).  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Patrick, Charles, Roseanne and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 72 on June 1st, 1895 in Little Falls, NY.
