Robert, known as Bob, was born on December 16th, 1914.  Bob's father was Michael Ashe and his mother was Bridget Murphy (Ashe).  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Ashe and Mary Hassett or Holly (Ashe). He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jim, Thomas, Willard, John, Mildred and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 86 on November 15th, 2001.  The funeral took place in Holy Trinity Cemetary, Little Falls, NY and was arranged by Enea Funeral Home.  He was buried in Holy Trinity Cemetary, Little Falls, NY.1
