Anne was born in September 1956.  Anne's father was Matthew Thomas Ashe and her mother is Ann Faith Tolsen (Ashe).  Her paternal grandparents were Patrick Francis Ashe and Hazel Bronk (Ashe).  She has two brothers and a sister, named Brian, Matthew and Mary.  She is the second oldest of the four children.
