William Withnell

William was born in 1866 in Sharples.¹ William's father was Thomas Withnell and his mother was Eliza Nightingale. His maternal grandparents were William Nightingale and Peggy (Margaret) Riding. He had three brothers named James, Edward and John. He was the youngest of the four children.
