John Thomas Withnell

John was born in 1863 in Sharples.¹ John's father was Thomas Withnell and his mother was Eliza Nightingale. His maternal grandparents were William Nightingale and Peggy (Margaret) Riding. He had three brothers named James, Edward and William. He was the second youngest of the four children.
