Alice was born in January 1796 in Warrington and her baptism took place there on January 31st, 1796.1 2  Alice's father was Richard Tomlinson and her mother was Alice Allen.  Her maternal grandparents were John Allen and Ellen Welsbey. She had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Ellen and Alice.  She was the second oldest of the four children.  She died at 2 months old in March 1796 in Warrington.  She was buried on March 6th, 1796 at St. Elphin.1 1
