Noah was born in 1791 in Almondbury and his christening took place there on July 3rd, 1791.1  Noah's father was John Stocks and his mother was Sarah Gledhill . He had five brothers and five sisters, named Richard, John, Richard, David, James, Betty, Mary, Hannah, Sarah and Phebe.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children.
