James Stocks

James was born on September 29th, 1827.¹ James' father was Benjamin Stocks and his mother was Sarah Campinot. His paternal grandparents were George Stocks and Mary Blackburn; his maternal grandfather was James Campinot. He had two brothers and four sisters, named George, Joseph, Mary, Ellen, Ann and Emma. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died in Ontario.

  Cant find James after 1861 census in the UK (not on 1871 or 1881 census).
  
  There is a James M Socks born in Huddersfield married to Ann in Surrey in 1891, but this may be another.

- James STOCKS may have emigrated to Canada. A James Stocks, born 1829, England (age 52), occupation Farmer, Married from England was recorded on the 1881 Bromley, Renfrew North, Ontario census.
