James Stanway

James was born on May 26th, 1914 in Birkenhead.¹

James' father was Albert Edward Stanway and his mother was Ann (Annie) Jane Brereton. His maternal grandparents were Charles Brereton and Mary Vaughan. He had two brothers and a sister, named George, Charles and Margaret. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 89 in November 2003 in Birkenhead.²
