Ethel Smith

Ethel was born in 1886 in Keighley.¹ Ethel's father was William Smith and her mother was Lucy Alma Hill. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Smith and Sarah Amy Pickles; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hill and Mary Walton. She had five brothers named Harry, Arthur, Percy, Ernest and Joseph. She was the second youngest of the six children.
