(Ellen) was born in 1883.1  (Ellen)'s father was William Shipley and her mother was Sarah Hunt. She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Joseph, Arthur, Edward, Annie, Alice and Emily.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
