Charlotte was born in 1885 in Liverpool.1  Charlotte's father was Francis Henry Morgan and her mother was Hannah Pollard.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Morgan and Martha Holt. She had two brothers and a sister, named William, Francis and Martha.  She was the youngest of the four children.
