George was born on December 21st, 1796 in Davenham and his christening took place there on January 15th, 1797.1  George's father was William Miller and his mother was Sarah Streets.  His paternal grandparents were John Miller and Catherine; his maternal grandparents were John Streets and Mary. He had a brother named James.  He was the younger of the two known children.
