Martha Ann Mather

Martha was born in 1867 in Little Hulton.¹ Martha's father was Edwin Mather and her mother was Sarah Stones. Her paternal grandparents were William Mather and Martha Tildsey. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Edwin, Samuel, Charles, Florence and Lillian. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
