Jane Hopley

Jane was born in 1810 in Shocklach and her christening took place there on April 1st, 1810.¹²

Jane's father was Robert Hopley and her mother was Margaret Richards. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Hopley and Catherine Lewis; her maternal grandparents were Richard Richards and Anne Phythian. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Thomas, Samuel, Anne and Margaret. She was the youngest of the six children. She died at the age of 57 in December 1867 in Birkenhead.³
