Hannah was born in 1805 in Bolton and her christening took place on January 1st, 1805 at St. Peters (Bolton).1  Hannah's father was Henry Fairhurst and her mother was Betty. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Joseph, Thomas, Ellen and Mary.  She was the second oldest of the six children.
