Emily's father was John Eddowes and her mother was Phoebe Parry-Pinnington. Her paternal grandparents were John Eddowes and Mary Holt; her maternal grandparents were William Pinnington and Martha Pinnington. She had a brother and five sisters, named George, Martha, Mary, Clara, Elizabeth and Lilian. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.

Death Notes
- The following record doesnt fit, as Emily was about 14 in 1886. There was another Emily Eddowes, born Q1-1878 in Birkengead, whom this must refer to.

General Notes
- Cant find Emily after 1881. She must have moved away from Birkenhead. It's also possible she died in 1886, but the age is recorded as 8, and she would have been about 14. All the other sisters are accounted for.
  
  There's two civil marriages at Chester district for Emily in 1904 and 1918. Could this be her?
