Dora M Dittmer

Dora was born in September 1924 in West Derby.¹

Dora's father was Hermann (Chris) Hinrich Christopher Dittmer and her mother was Elizabeth (Lilly) Graham. Her paternal grandparents were Johann (Chris) Heinrich Christoph Dittmer and Katharina (Margaret) Margaretha Maria Heuer. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Harold, Charles, (Elizabeth) and (Marie). She died in Southport.²

General Notes
- My mum remembers that Dora spoke with a very posh accent, dressed smart and had dark hair. After she married Jack, they lived in a bungalow in Blundel Sands, Lancashire. They had no children of her own.
  
  My mum's family and Dora kept in contact at Christmas. Dora came to most of the funerals from mum's (Joan Mather's) side of the family.
  
  Dora and Jack moved into sheltered housing at Saxon House, Saxon Road, Southport before she died.
