Margaret (Maggie) Burgess

Margaret, known as Maggie, was born in 1867 in Atherton.¹ Maggie's father was Joseph Burgess and her mother was Alice Nightingale. Her maternal grandparents were William Nightingale and Peggy (Margaret) Riding. She had three brothers and a sister, named Eliza, John, Joseph and Annie. She was the third oldest of the five children.
