Sarah Buckley

Sarah was born on October 25th, 1848 in Bolton.¹ Sarah's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Patience Oldham. Her paternal grandparents were John Buckley and Mary Leech; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Oldham and Sarah Hewitt. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Henry, Silas, Martha, Mary, Emma, Ellen, Edith and Beatrice. She was the oldest of the nine children.
