Mary was born about 1762 in Oldham and her christening took place there on June 1st, 1762.1  Mary's father was Benjamin Buckley and her mother was Sarah Ogden(?). She had three brothers and a sister, named Joseph, Josiah, John and Ann.  She was the oldest of the five known children.
