Margaret was born on November 11th, 1857 in Bury and her christening took place on November 27th, 1857 at St. Mary (Bury).1  Margaret's father was William Buckley and her mother was Ann Nuttall. She had five brothers and a sister, named James, Thomas, William, William, John and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the seven children.
