Mary Briggs

Mary was born in 1864 in Bingley.¹ Mary's father was Moses Briggs and her mother was Alice Pickles. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Briggs and Abigail Bradshaw; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Pickles. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Mark, William, Rouanna, Harriet, Caroline, Abigail, Alice and Emma. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
