Emma Briggs

Emma was born in 1876 in Bingley.¹ Emma's father was Moses Briggs and her mother was Alice Pickles. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Briggs and Abigail Bradshaw; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Pickles and Mary Pickles. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Mark, William, Rouanna, Harriet, Caroline, Abigail, Mary and Alice. She was the youngest of the nine children.
