Sarah Annie Brereton

Sarah was born in September 1882 in Tattenhall.¹

Sarah's father was John Brereton and her mother was Elizabeth Manley. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Brereton and Catherine Rushton. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Thomas, William, John, Arthur, Robert, Charles, Frederick, Harry, Catherine, Florence, Margaret, Ellen, Gertrude and Lucy. She was the seventh oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 80 in 1962 in Tattenhall.²
