Isobel was born in July 1775 and her christening took place on July 16th, 1775 at St. Peters (Bolton).1  Isobel's father was James Astley and her mother was Mary Bury. She had five brothers named John, James, William, Nicholas and Samuel.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 1 in December 1776.  She was buried on December 10th, 1776.1
