Henry was born on October 9th, 1859 in Strackholt, Aurich, Lower Saxony, Germany.1  He died at the age of 87 on November 11th, 1946 in Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska.  He was buried on November 15th, 1946 at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Pickrell, Gage County, Nebraska.1 1 



Henry's family

Henry and Abbie were married on March 14th, 1883 in Hanover, Gage County, Nebraska by Pastor Seyler.1   They had four sons and four daughters, named Christian, Thomas, Ollie, John, Tena, Maggie, Mary and Etta.
