Gabriel Straight 
Gabriel was born on April 15th, 1812 in Monongalia County, West Virginia, USA. Gabriel's father was Jacob K. Straight and his mother was Permelia Shuman. His paternal grandmother is Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Henry Shuman and Sarah Temple Kendall. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Urias E., Levi J, William Milton, Alpheus Riley, James Acie, Henry Newton, Permelia, Cyrenna, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Ellen. He was the second oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 75 on July 19th, 1887 in Wetzel, West Virginia, USA.1 -
