Nathan Tichenor was born on September 9th, 1817 in Whitingham, Windham, Vermont, USA.1 Nathan Tichenor's father was John L. Sherman and his mother was Sarah "Sally" Sherman. His maternal grandparents were Nathan Sherman and Rebeckah Williams. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Simeon, Seth, David Thompson, William Edward, Sherman, Sally, Lucy, Diadama, Helen Marr, Frances "Fanny" and Elizabeth Ann "Betsey ". He died at the age of 64 on June 26th, 1882 in Troy, Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA. He was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery (Pennsylvania).2 2 General Notes
