Col. James Murray 
Col. James was born on July 4th, 1736 in Shermans Dale, Perry, Pennsylvania, USA.1 Col. James' father was James Murray and his mother was Janet "Jennet" Armit. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, William and Mary. He died at the age of 80 on April 1st, 1817 in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, USA. He was buried in Chillisquaque Cemetery.2 3
