William was born on July 23rd, 1756 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA.1   William's father was Robert Morrison and his mother was Sarah.  His paternal grandparents are William Morrison and Janet Hall. He had four brothers and six sisters, named John, James, Robert, Thomas, Phoebe, Sarah, Martha, Elizabeth, Jean and Mary.  He died at the age of 65 on November 10th, 1821 in Cabarrus County, North Carolina, USA.  He was buried in Old Rocky River Graveyard.2 1
