Abraham was born on September 11th, 1652 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts, USA.  Abraham's father was John Hathway and his mother was Martha Shepherd.  His paternal grandfather is Nicholas Hathway. He had three brothers and two sisters, named John, Issac, Ephraim, Abigail and Rebecca.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 72 on August 23rd, 1725 in Dighton, Bristol, Massachusetts, USA.  He was buried in Fox Cemetery.1
