Edward was born about 1615 in England.  Edward's father was Edmund Farrington and his mother was Elizabeth Newhall.  His maternal grandfather is Newhall. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Mathew, John, Thomas, Elizabeth and Sarah.  He died in 1675 in Flushing, Queens, New York, USA.  He was buried in Old Bowne Family Burial Ground.1
