Margaret Mourning Allen 
Margaret Mourning was born on November 3rd, 1849. Margaret Mourning's father was David Allen and her mother was Eliza A McCown. Her maternal grandparents were James M. McCown and Nancy Mourning Lewis. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Elijah Thomas, William Mekes, James Lewis, Samuel David, John, Nancy Savannah, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Ann. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 64 on January 16th, 1914.-
