Margaret was born on August 15th, 1894 in Knockboy, Buolick. Margaret's father was Patrick Stapleton and her mother was Ellen Bartley. Her paternal grandparents were William Stapleton and Margaret Nowlan; her maternal grandparents were Michael Bartley and Mary Manton. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, Michael, Patrick, James, John, Richard and Mary. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 88 in December 1982 in Lawrence, Essex co, Massachusetts. She was buried in December 1982 in St. Augustine Cemetary, Andover, Essex Co, Massachusetts.-
