John Harding

John was born on March 10th, 1900 in Glengoole. John's father was Nicholas (Nicklos) Harding and his mother was Margaret (Maggie) Heffernan. His paternal grandparents were Laurence Harding and Teresa Rourke; his maternal grandparents were William Heffernan and Mary Gason. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Laurence, William, Edward, Jimmy, Hinney, Nicholas, Joseph, Daniel, Mary, Tessie, Catherine and Margaret. He was the third oldest of the thirteen children. He died of an unknown cause at the age of 71 on January 8th, 1972 in Glengoole.
