Ellen (Nelly) Gilbert

Ellen, known as Nelly, was born on April 17th, 1814 in New Birmingham.

Nelly's father was Laurence Gilbert and her mother was Margaret Donnell. She had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Ned, Ann, Mary and Peg.  She was the oldest of the six children.  She died at the age of 58 on July 22nd, 1872 in Glengoole.
