Mary Gason

Mary was born in 1850 in The Commons, Balingarry.  Mary's father was John Gason and her mother was Ellen Power.  Her paternal grandparents were Patt Gason and Cath Doyle. She had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Michael, James, Edmund, Margaret and Ellen.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 29 on March 2nd, 1879 in Earlshill.
