Kieran (Tom) was born on November 5th, 1939. Kieran (Tom)'s father was James Flanagan and his mother was Julia Furey. His paternal grandparents were Martin Flanagan and Mary Murphy; his maternal grandparents were Edward (Ned) Furey and Catherine Reilly. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Martin, John, Patrick, Patrick, Gerry, Michael, Maura, Kitty, Chris, Celia , Celia and Theresa. He was the third youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 70 on January 31st, 2010 in Oldham.
