Alice, known as Ginger, was born on February 28th, 1936 in Monticello, Sullivan, NY.  Ginger's father was Joseph Pere and her mother was Edith Pere.  Her paternal grandfather is Hubert Pere and her paternal grandmother was Josine Schockaert Pere.  She had three brothers and a sister, named Pere, Raymond I. Cpl.  WWII - Sullivan County, Eugene, Joseph and Dill.
