Ira J Edwards

Ira was born in 1834 in Monticello, Sullivan, NY. Ira's father was Elijah Weller Edwards and his mother was Harriet Church Edwards. His paternal grandparents were Benajah Edwards and Laurany S Weller Edwards. He had three brothers and three sisters, named George, Charles, Hiram, Sarah, Joathan and Squires. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Ladd, Gadd, Meahad, Uriah, John, Elsie (Elosie) and Mary. He died at the age of 30 on November 8th, 1864 in Folly Island, SC.
