Anna was born in 1635 in Manheim, Baden, Germany. Anna's father is Matthys BLANCHAN and her mother was Magdalena Brissen JOIRE.  She had three brothers and seven sisters, named Matthew, Elizabeth, Mattheus, Madeline, Elizabeth, Cathrine, Maria, Maximilanus, Magdalena and Madelaine.  She is the fifth oldest of the eleven children.
