Mohammed's father was Ahmed Yaseen and his mother is Saara Ummah.  His paternal grandparents were S.A.S.Syed Abdul Cader "Periya Kaaliyar" and Ummu Habeeba; his maternal grandfather is Mohamed Mahmood and his maternal grandmother was Ahmed Meera Ummah. He has two brothers and three sisters, named Mohamed, Shehu Alaudeen, Jennath Hussaina, Nasreen Nabila and Najihath Azeera.  He is the third oldest of the six children.

Mohammed and Mahroofa are married.  They have a son named Musharrif.
