Ahmed Yaseen's father was S.A.S.Syed Abdul Cader "Periya Kaaliyar" and his mother was Ummu Habeeba.  His paternal grandparents were Ahmed Thambi and Syed Raabiyath Ummah; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and a sister, named Abdul Azeez Hajiyar, Hussain Thambi and Taajun nisha Beevi.
