Myron was born on October 15th, 1871 in Dundee, MI.  Myron's father was William Henry Rankin and his mother was Amy Ursla Kimpton.  His paternal grandparents were Orlean Rankin and Hannah Miller. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named Laverne, Elmer, Dewitt, Alta, Amy, Marietta, Margaret, Henrietta, Grace, Flora and Blanche.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 87 on June 6th, 1959 in Dundee, MI.  He was buried at the Ridgeway Cemetery.1

‌Myron and Lena were married.  They had two daughters named Eunice and Naomi.
