Carrie was born on December 5th, 1882.  Carrie's father was John Quincy Adams and her mother was Jane Ann Newcomb.  Her paternal grandparents were Lucas Adams and Mary A Baker. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Charles, George, Irwin, Aurilla, Hattie and Bertha.  She was the second youngest of the seven children.  She died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia at the age of 44 on April 9th, 1927 in Dundee, MI.  She was buried at the Ridgeway Cemetery.1

‌Carrie and Elmer were married in a religious ceremony on April 9th, 1910.  They had two sons named Russell and Marshall.
