Celia Norris

Celia was born on December 20th, 1902. Celia's father was William Henry Norris and her mother was Jane Ann Dent. Her paternal grandparents were William Norris and Mary Jane Ashford; her maternal grandparents were Joseph William Dent and Rose Ann Fisher. She had two brothers and seven sisters, named "Ted", Joseph, Edith, Phyllis, Rose, Rene, Daisy, Leslie and Marjorie. She had a half-brother named Howard. She died in an accident or as a result of an injury at the age of 83 in 1985.

Death Notes
- Died as a result of injuries from being run over by a motor car.

General Notes
- Frank Tippin Ballard in his diary written late in life (in the possession of Ralph Ballard) records that:
  "Born at 45 Cope Street, Ladywood, England on 20 December 1902
  Siblings - Edie, Rose (m. Howard Russell), William (Ted), Phyllis (m. Fred Taylor), Rene (m. Mr. Chapman), Daisy, Leslie, Marjorie, Joseph.
  Michael is the son of Rene. He came to stay with Frank and Celia in Melbourne in 1957, then returned to Birmingham."
  Before marrying Frank and emigrating to Australia, she was a lacemaker in Birmingham, England.
