Antje was born on December 30th, 1801 in Wetzens.  Antje's father was Jan Pieters van der Bij and her mother was Metje Foppes.  Her paternal grandparents were Pieter Sakes and Kunske Pieters.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 91 on April 20th, 1893 in Akkerwoude.
